Love

Love

Love is something we all seem to aim for. Its something we all want, even if you say that you don’t need that special someone it doesn’t mean you don’t want love. You have the love of your parents, friends, that special someone or your pet goldfish.

We all NEED love. Yes, I have been told over and over again that this is a stupid stereotypical view and that we don’t actually need it. I disagree though, I think you need love. Its something that keeps us altogether and sane; it’s the thing that keeps us living. There are days, dozens and many hundreds of these particular days when you feel so crap, you just feel like you just want to sit there and do nothing. Maybe even cry. Then someone will come up to you or call you or send you that particular email. Then you smile again and its not because EVERYTHING is completely better or EVERY problem you had has been solved but still….. you feel better. It’s because of love. You need it. You would go wacko or die without it. You need to be able to lean on each other once and while (or if you are like me every second day ;) )

We all need this love

It’s something that binds us together

It’s the only thing that makes this world full of killing and hatred

Seem so bearable

Its love

I love love :)

Creatures of Habit

Creatures of Habit

Humans are wonderful creatures of habit. I have always commented on this for example in school you will always go to YOUR specific spot in that classroom or in the car you have YOUR specific seat.

We just keep on repeating what we know is safe. Though humans also have a tendency to repeat what is unsafe aka something that has hurt them before. E.g. Go through that relationship again but with a different person or put your hand on that electrical circuit JUST to check if that really was what caused you pain. Humans just will repeat the same thing over and over again just to check.

I find it hilarious. My friend was telling me the other day that somewhere there is this building and in ancient Greek it is written ‘so and so is hot’ and then its scratched out and underneath it says, ‘says who?’ I can’t say my sources are perfect but I still find it hilarious.

Something we find on graffiti on the train doors and walls were written on huge Greek buildings by some other people who thought it was the coolest thing to do. I love it.

Wars have been fought over the same things but with different people and places. Graffiti is exactly the same as it has been hundreds years ago. Fashions repeat constantly and let me say they looked bad the first time around. People never seem to change. Read poetry and literature, you can see we are all still focused on the same damned things. And SOMEONE’S got to agree with me out there that when you are walking down the street, I swear people repeat. You wont notice a difference in the people that walk past you unless they actually are doing something utterly bizarre. And then you know they are original and maybe are not that much of a creature of habit like the rest of us.
